Homework Questions for March 10

  1. Please visit the blog ("Check!") and become a "follower": www.church4chicks.blogspot.com Directions for leaving comments are at the top of this BRAND NEW BLOG! Stay in touch with the Chicks between weekly meetings and when we're not in the midst of a series.
  2. Help us get the word out! Send info to other Chicks about the blog, the website, Church4Chicks.com, and about BABBIE MASON leading worship on March 17th!!!
  3. As we look at our key verse for this spring series, what would you say makes for your biggest obstacle in "living at peace with everyone?"
  4. Is there one particular relationship you'll commit to praying for throughout these next 8 weeks? If so, write down that person's name or initials somewhere that will help you remember to keep this relationship before the Father in prayer.
  5. What do you believe is the single greatest thing about being in a relationship with another person? (I know it's tough to narrow it down to one, but you can do it. J)
  6. With that idea in mind, why do you think the enemy (Satan) does whatever he can do to come in between people who are in relationship with one another?
  7. What are some examples of this found in Scripture?
  8. What does the Bible say about our role in difficult relationships? Look up some verses and jot them down so you can meditate on them before our next meeting on March 17. (A great online tool to help with this is Biblegateway.com) I'll post a place on the blog to share the verses you find. It'll be great learning from one another!
  9. On March 17th, we'll look at laying our lives down as a living sacrifice, from Romans 12:1-3. Please read through these verses and jot down the things that come to your mind as we move into studying this together.
  10. What are some ways we can be intentional about offering ourselves as a "living sacrifice?"
  11. What ways will you be intentional about this this week?

  1. Though I wasn't able to come on Tuesday and I wasn't able to continue with my volunteering, I am planning on coming to the next meetings.

I am feeling much better...no more bronchitis or whooping cough in sight. Can't wait to get in the Word with everyone.

  2. I had no idea what God was up to.... God continually uses you, Shelley to speak to my current situation. When you preached on Tues. I knew immediately who that person was in my life. This person has really hurt me this week. I know God will continue to speak to me in this area. All I need is Jesus!
