WOW!!

Last night we had our first ever "Summer Nights" event with Church 4 Chicks and it was a smashing success! Although many of the "chicks" who are normally with us were unable to make it due to other summer commitments, we made so many new friends at our Luau themed Girl's Night Out!

Erica Branch was as wonderful and warm and encouraging as always. What a gift she was to the whole event through leading worship, sharing a testimony, and leading us to the very throne of God.

The drama team from FBC Woodstock was incredible!! Thank you to Nancy, Heather, and Ceci for bringing such a fun, REAL, skit to all of us girls at Church 4 Chicks. We can't wait to have you back!

To all of our sponsors and priceless volunteers, please know how much I appreciate you. I cannot imagine a more wonderful group of people to serve our Lord alongside of. THANK YOU, especially, to Michele Harkins, our gifted and amazing event planner!! Girl, you've got it goin' on!! And, I'm so glad you're on our team as we seek to reach our city for Christ, one woman at a time. I can't wait to see what you've come up with for the next one!

Speaking of which, we are ECSTATIC about the plans for our August 4th Summer Night event. We're going to do something completely different than we have ever done. We are going to open the night up as a FAMILY NIGHT with featured guest, Nationally recognized and sought after Magician, Curt Anderson!! (www.magicurt.com) So, ladies, invite the whole family for a show that will AMAZE you, I promise!! Tickets are $10 and we will have desserts/coffee available after the show. The theme will be "Hollywood Nights", so feel free to come as you are, or dress up for the Red Carpet!

The Cumberland Community Band ROCKS and they will be our featured music for the night. I have their latest CD and it is one of my absolute favorites!

We will take up a love offering the night of the event to help raise support/funds for Church 4 Chicks as we move into the 2nd year of ministering to our city! Thank you to everyone for all you do, whether by attending, praying, giving, serving, or all of the above. We simply cannot do anything worthwhile on our own, but with God's Spirit equipping us and as we link arms together, the sky is the limit!
