Want to be a part of our Fall Series, but can't make it in person?

We love, love, love getting to meet some really fabulous people during our spring and fall series at Church 4 Chicks! But we realize that there are those of you out there who can't make it in person for whatever reason, and we haven't forgotten about you!

C4C is making every effort to make this ministry available to whoever would like to be a part of this with us. At some point, we'll be able to stream our events LIVE, but in the mean time, here's the plan:

Here's what we suggest:

1) First of all, grab a friend, or two, or MORE and plan out a couple of hours or so each week or two when you can get together to enjoy some "chick chat" about the written study which you can purchase easily here:

The workbook has a written study, devotional stories, and more. It's a great investment into your own spiritual journey--especially if choose to do this in a small group with others.

2) Upload the teaching videos by logging into our website (www.church4chicks.com) and clicking our Media page. There is a Media Launcher which has the most recent teaching videos in addition to past videos of Shelley's teaching.**Teaching Videos will be online very soon--consider purchasing your workbook so that they'll arrive in time to begin with your group right away. Our intro video and promo video are online now.** These videos, along with our other media resources, will also be available SOON on iTunes so that you can subscribe to our podcast.

3) Decide with your group if you want to watch the videos together as part of your "Chick Chat" or if you want that to be something each member does on her own as part of her personal study time in between your meetings together. You get to choose what works best for you and your group!

4) Also, you can purchase your "This Chick Has High Hopes" t-shirts by ordering them on-line. These are a fun way to show the world that YOU are holding onto hope! Church 4 Chicks is hitting the road!

Church 4 Chicks began in 2008 with a desire to create and cultivate an environment of grace for women of all ages. Little did we know then that it was God's plan to create and cultivate environments (plural) of grace and not just one little group in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Over the past few years, we've discovered more of God's unique vision for this ministry and we've experienced many bumps along the road. Truth is, as long as we're on this side of eternity, those bumps in the road are part of any journey. 

As we've sought to be faithful to the commission given to us by our gracious Heavenly Father, others around the US and even other parts of the world have taken notice. We have received many requests to expand this ministry into other communities.

With this in mind, C4C is hitting the road! We've already been to Jamaica (via Cruise with a Cause 2011) and we're scheduled to be in Alaska this fall. Additionally, there are other open doors beginning to reveal themselves for this very thing in other parts of the country as well. It is our hope and intention to bring C4C into these communities so that leaders within those areas can begin to host a Church 4 Chicks for the women (from teens on up!) so that these ladies are given an opportunity to meet in an environment of grace and do life together on a regular and on-going basis. 

To do all this, we need your prayers!! Unless God is invited to be a part of this, there is absolutely no reason to take even one more step. He has invited us into what He is doing, and we've answered the invitation with a resounding "Yes, Lord!" But we still need to extend the invite to Him as well. We need to remember that He is the leader of Church 4 Chicks and that His plan far supersedes any of our own.

There are also, as with anything, financial needs arising to make this happen. There are several ways you can help:

1) You can donate any amount to Church 4 Chicks which is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. You can mail a check to C4C at PO Box 1447, Woodstock, GA 30188 or donate online at www.church4chicks.com

2) You can consider becoming a sponsor of Church 4 Chicks' fall 2011 series. There are different levels of sponsorship which makes it possible for ANY business, large or small, to participate and reap the benefits of partnering with C4C.

3) You can volunteer and help us spread the word--this costs nothing monetarily, but saves the ministry needed resources.

Fall Series begins in ONE WEEK!!

 

We will begin our 5^th season on September 28, 2010. Our fall series, "Dreams Still Do Come True" will run for 8 consecutive Tuesday nights and we'll meet at Piedmont Church in Marietta, GA.* We'll be taking an exciting and empowering journey together looking at the Old Testament story of Joseph and his brothers. Did you ever stop to consider what it must have been like to be those brothers; to feel like God only had a dream for Joseph and not for them? Have you ever felt like you could identify more with the brothers who made mistakes and lived with guilt and regret than you could with Joseph who seemed to do everything right? Dreams really Do Still Come True!

We are going to get our fall series kicked off on the right foot! Our guest speaker will be SHANNEN FIELDS You will recognize her as "Brooke" from the hit faith-based film, Facing the Giants.

Shannen will be speaking to us on the importance of being "dreamers" and going after those things God has placed in our hearts to do. You won't want to miss hearing this down-to-earth chick who adores Jesus, her family, and following her dreams! Shannen also co-stars in the upcoming film, "Suing the Devil" which stars Malcomn McDowell. You'll definitely want to check it out!


Our worship leaders will be the hit new band "Hope's Anchor." We had these guys on Atlanta Live a couple of months ago, and they stole the night! They have a great sound and incredible talent, but you are mostly going to appreciate their hearts to serve and lead others to worship through song. It's going to be a GREAT night!!

Church 4 Chicks is for women of ALL ages--from teens to great-great grandmothers and everywhere in between! We are intentional about creating and cultivating an environment of grace that allows us to enjoy relationships with women of all ages, backgrounds, and denominations. We hope you'll come experience it for yourself!

*Some of you are wondering why we are moving the ministry site away from the wonderful Cumberland Community Church. Due to the drive for the majority of our leaders (who have been so gracious to make the long trek for 2 years now) and the growth of C4C, we prayed and sought counsel and made the decision to look for another possible host site. God led us to Dr. Ike Reighard and the incredible people at Piedmont Church earlier this year, and they have so generously opened up their student building to us to meet in each week. It is truly a blessing!


We are so appreciative of Alan Scott and his amazing team at CCC and for their support which launched the Church 4 Chicks ministry by giving us such a great place to meet. Our desire is to create a C4C option for our friends in the Smyrna area who have become a part of the C4C ministry, who can now take what they've learned and utilize their gifts and resources to cultivate that environment of grace that will continue to meet at CCC. It will be exciting to see what God has in mind! If you are one of our CCC girls, we want to hear from you! Summer Nights Series Continues on August 17!

We made some new friends last night at Church 4 Chicks which met in the Student Building at Piedmont Church in Marietta. Everyone who attended was so excited about the location and accomodations that were graciously made available to us by the wonderful people at Piedmont Church. Lori Kennedy did a wonderful job leading us in worship after pulling the ladies away from "Chick Chat!" It was so great to see ladies making new friends and seeing old friends as well. This new site will have great teaching videos and other resources available for your viewing. It's a really great ministry, and we're so fortunate to get to be a part of it.
