Important Info regarding our FALL 2011 Series!

Our Teaching Series BEGINS on 9-27-11 at Town Center Community Church

Hello Everyone! Welcome to a BRAND NEW fall series at Church 4 Chicks! It's hard to believe it's been 3 years since we first got started, and we're thrilled and honored to be a small part of what our great God is doing in our generation and in our community.

I wanted to give you a little bit of info to help you as you prepare for this next series:

1. Our latest and greatest t-shirts have arrived and will be available for purchase on-site and on-line. You can visit our online store here if you'd like to have the shirt(s) sent to you. Please indicate in the notes what size (all adult sizes at this point--S, M, L, XL) you are ordering. Here's a little shot of what the shirts look like.

I told you they were cute! ;-)

2. Our Fall Series is available to you at NO CHARGE. You do not have to pay a dime to participate in the C4C Teaching Series. But, if you want the full impact of this series, we wanted to give you a head's up that we're providing you an opportunity to purchase the "Chick Notes" workbook which includes the written study that goes along with the teaching series. This workbook also includes pages for you to take notes while you're listening to the teaching segments, as well as hope-filled devotionals, C4C info, and more. You will definitely want to take advantage of this and the cost is only $20.00, which means you can do a good deed (help support your C4C ministry) while doing something to enrich your spiritual journey as well. It's a win-win!!

3. I've been hosting a Hope Blog Party on my blog here that goes along with the series as well. We're surrounded by messages and images of hope. I'd love for you to stop by if you haven't done so already. Leave your comments...you really never know how and who it might impact.

4. Sit back for a minute, and enjoy this brief video that was made by Raskal Productions just for C4C's fall series: Hope Changes Everything!! (Teaching Series begins 9-27-11)

5. Need more info? Check out our website event page at www.church4chicks.com and if you still need more 411, don't hesitate to contact us at info@church4chicks.com and/or 770.877.0007

Have a blessed day and we'll look forward to seeing YOU and your friends at Church 4 Chicks on 9-27-11 at Town Center Community Church!!

Teaching and Worship begin promptly at 7:00, but come on out a little bit early if you can for "Chick Chat" which begins at 6:15 p.m. Bring your meal and enjoy some time to chat with other chicks before we kick off the evening's main event.

Another season is now history....

It's a bit surreal each time we pack up another Church 4 Chicks season of ministry. Time is flying! It's hard to believe our 6th season is officially behind us.

For the most part, this past season has been the sweetest and most enjoyable one for me personally. Although there have been challenges to face (aren't there always?) and disappointments experienced (again--part of life!), this Spring 2011 series has been one in which I've begun to see more of the vision realized than ever before.

Church 4 Chicks is all about creating and cultivating environments of grace for women of all ages. And it's not always easy, but it is always worth it!

And, so, now it's time to pack up the old, and begin preparing for the new! Wondering what's next for C4C? I'm glad you asked! Here is our Summer 2011 "That Time of The Month" event schedule:

Saturday, June 18: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. TACKY PARTY!! This will be held in the home of one of our volunteers, so we will not post location details on-line. You must RSVP to get that top secret (ha ha) info.
Email us at info@church4chicks.com

Friday, July 15: 6 - 9 p.m. FAMILY NIGHT cook-out at Cumberland Community Church. Bring the whole family for a fun summer night together with your favorite chicks!

Tuesday, August 16: 6:15 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. HYMNS FOR HER *Tentatively scheduled at Piedmont Church* Come for a special night of worship where we will honor the great music written and sung by those who carried the Gospel to the world in generations before our own. One of our missions at C4C is to unite the generations and so we're excited about this opportunity to focus our attention on our Christian heritage and introduce the youngest among us of the history of some of the most beloved hymns of all times.

You won't want to miss any of these Summer Events, so mark your calendars, invite your friends, and make your plans to attend Church 4 Chicks!

Fall Series begins in ONE WEEK!!

We will begin our 5th season on September 28, 2010. Our fall series, "Dreams Still Do Come True" will run for 8 consecutive Tuesday nights and we'll meet at Piedmont Church in Marietta, GA.* We'll be taking an exciting and empowering journey together looking at the Old Testament story of Joseph and his brothers. Did you ever stop to consider what it must have been like to be those brothers; to feel like God only had a dream for Joseph and not for them? Have you ever felt like you could identify more with the brothers who made mistakes and lived with guilt and regret than you could with Joseph who seemed to do everything right? Regardless of who you identify with best, I hope you'll join us as we discover together that…

Dreams really Do Still Come True!

We are going to get our fall series kicked off on the right foot! Our guest speaker will be SHANNEN FIELDS You will recognize her as "Brooke" from the hit faith-based film, Facing the Giants.

Shannen will be speaking to us on the importance of being "dreamers" and going after those things God has placed in our hearts to do. You won't want to miss hearing this down-to-earth chick who adores Jesus, her family, and following her dreams! Shannen also co-stars in the upcoming film, "Suing the Devil" which stars Malcomn McDowell. You'll definitely want to check it out!

Our worship leaders will be the hit new band "Hope's Anchor." We had these guys on Atlanta Live a couple of months ago, and they stole the night! They have a great sound and incredible talent, but you are mostly going to appreciate their hearts to serve and lead others to worship through song. It's going to be a GREAT night!!

Church 4 Chicks is for women of ALL ages--from teens to great-great grandmothers and everywhere in between! We are intentional about creating and cultivating an environment of grace that allows us to enjoy relationships with women of all ages, backgrounds, and denominations. We hope you'll come experience it for yourself!

More info will be shared at our kick off, but mark your calendars now for Tuesday nights from September 28-November 16.

6:15 p.m for "Chick Chat" (Bring your meal and enjoy dinner with friends)

7:00-8:30 for the Main Event

Please help us by spreading the word. You can point people to our website, facebook, and Twitter pages by utilizing your own accounts. What a privilege we've been given to Create and Cultivate environments of Grace for Women of ALL ages!

*Some of you are wondering why we are moving the ministry site away from the wonderful Cumberland Community Church. Due to the drive for the majority of our leaders (who have been so gracious to make the long trek for 2 years now) and the growth of C4C, we prayed and sought counsel and made the decision to look for another possible host site. God led us to Dr. Ike Reighard and the incredible people at Piedmont Church earlier this year, and they have so generously opened up their student building to us to meet in each week. It is truly a blessing!

We are so appreciative of Alan Scott and his amazing team at CCC and for their support which launched the Church 4 Chicks ministry by giving us such a great place to meet. Our desire is to create a C4C option for our friends in the Smyrna area who have become a part of the C4C ministry, who can now take what they've learned and utilize their gifts and resources to cultivate that environment of grace that will continue to meet at CCC. It will be exciting to see what God has in mind! If you are one of our CCC girls, we want to hear from you! Please email us at info@church4chicks.com and give us your feedback and ideas as you prayerfully seek God's voice for the CCC C4C option. :)

Summer Nights Series Continues on August 17!

We made some new friends last night at Church 4 Chicks which met in the Student Building at Piedmont Church in Marietta. Everyone who attended was so excited about the location and accomodations that were graciously made available to us by the wonderful people at Piedmont Church. Make sure you visit their website and their church! (http://www.piedmontchurch.tv/)

Lori Kennedy did a wonderful job leading us in worship after pulling the ladies away from "Chick Chat!" It was so great to see ladies making new friends and seeing old friends as well. If you missed the message, we videotaped it, and will do our best to make it available ASAP. Speaking of which, make sure you check out http://www.stream4truth.com/ which should be live very soon! This new site will have great teaching videos and other resources available for your viewing. It's a really great ministry, and we're so fortunate to get to be a part of it.

Make sure you don't miss our next event on August 17 with Dr. Brenda Wagner.

In her own words...

“I enjoy therapy as a collaborataive and respectful exploration of issues with specific goal-focused strategies. I employ diverse therapy approaches to address life's complexities. I encourage the inclusion of all relevant family members.

I have over 25 years working with families with complex mental health and medical issues. I believe an accurate assessment of the client and relationship system within a multidisciplinary approach is most effective. Clients typically find that I am compassionate and responsive and use therapy time in a client-focused manner.

My background includes nursing and psychology training across multiple settings. I have experience with cancer/brain tumors, grief, mood disorders, and relationship struggles. Clients are assessed across spiritual, emotional, and physical aspects of their life. Psychological and Neuropsychological assessments are offered.”

Dr. Wagner will be sharing a special message just for us "Chicks" at Church 4 Chicks. Come early for Chick Chat at 6:15 (bring your own meal, and enjoy dinner with friends). We'll kick off the main event with worship and Brenda's message at 7:00 and you'll be well on your way home by 8:30 p.m.

Bring a friend with you and join us for a very special evening!! Need printed materials to hand out to your circle of friends? Please email us at info@church4chicks.com

Thanks!!
